Darrell Blackwell -
Classical/Liturgical Guitarist Over 30yrs experience playing the guitar. Training includes: Basic Fundamentals of the Guitar Jazz Guitar Classical Guitar/ Music Theory I played in my church as a guitar instrumentalist for 30yrs. I studied Classical guitar with Bob Capetta at the Guitar Guild and Academy of Music Arts in New Jersey for 13 yrs. I also teach basic and intermediate guitar, jazz guitar,
and classical guitar. I am also
a Suzuki guitar instructor and have taught the method at the Portland Conservatory of Music and at Rivertree Center for the
Arts. The Suzuki guitar instruction program is primarily oriented to classical guitar for the very young.
I am currently a member of the Portland Classical Guitar Quartet under the direction and supervision of Nathan Kolosko, who is a professional classical guitarist and teacher at the Conservatory. Enter content here Enter content here |
